Question why 52 members for local dues and 70 for State dues
difference is 1st year members.
Question why don’t we put some of Extra money in CD’s ?

· R. Raftery spoke of reason that state dues are going to increase (insurance)

· Also uniform changes – will not be able to purchase Cliff Keen blue or navy

· Correspondence to Executive Board
1) One summer league made request not to assign certain umpire(s). They
were notified they can not dictate but assignor.
2) Issue about umpires either having conversations with players, coaches.
Need to be aware that this needs to be minimal if at all.
3) Also Umpires should not change in parking lots….Either at home or
call school and they will provide a room.

· Copy of ejection forms are on-line under documents

· Stress use of emails for all correspondence with Executive Board

· Evaluation Procedure was reviewed – new people need to have
2 full base/plate evaluations.

· 2 new meetings to be added (set up by test date) focusing on summer
games. One toward Batavia – one toward the south. Mainly to address
summer issues.
· Test date was questioned – only change is the time 7 PM same date
march 22 at LeRoy Legion.

· Dues + Availability Sheets will be due by 3/2/09. Must be paid and turned
in to get any assignments.
· Ryan made recommendation to increase dues to $65 for the 2010
season. This will be discussed on the test date and voted on at the test date
(3/22/09)

· Ryan discussed some of the particulars about assignments and contacting
your partner, Also reminded people about use of 2008 Rules/Case books
