· Formal election procedure was waived in 2005. Membership decided to keep the same slate of officers for the two year term at the 1st business meeting of the year. Nominations & elections will be held in 2007. Ryan to add to agenda.
· Is Cohocton its own school district or is it part of the Wayland system? Ryan to investigate.
· Provide umpire applications for all members at the 1st business meeting. Pete
· Review of Fingerprinting documents from USBC will be added to agenda. This includes how GVUA will assist in payments and how much each umpire will have to pay. One summer fee was discussed as an option.
· Money was added to budget for fingerprinting and evaluation payments.
· Make attendance sheet for 1st meeting indicating who has submitted an application. Rico
· Executive Session – 2:15pm
o Steven Wells and Lew Wilson did not attend all meetings and should not have received a schedule for 2006 season. Speak to assignor about schedule
o Send out letter to Umpire #1015 confirming that the Exec. Bd. has received his letter for a hearing of his 2006 charges and suspension for 2007. Letter sent to Ryan 1/8/07.
o Umpire #1041 has been suspended indefinitely pending charges from incidents that are in violation of article 6 section 6 #4. A letter will be put in his file explaining the suspension.
o Beginning in 2007 the secretary will begin to catalogue all communications with identification. Board agreed on GVUA (#year) starting at document GVUA 01/07. Rico
o All new certified officials have met the evaluation criteria. No Associate members have any evaluations on file
o Advancement: - all evaluations were reviewed – results posted below

§ Associate – Balonek, Carlock, Coates, Daniel, Kania, Moffitt, Riggi, Walsh, Walters, Weidman.
