Highlights – 2006 NYSBUA Annual Meeting

 

New Rule for 2007 are out and are listed on the web – use the NYSBUA link.

 

Empire State games for 2007 will be held in Westchester county.

 

STATE INTERPRETOR – No individual is to call the interpretor.
  The only calls he will acknowledge are from chapter interpretors only. If you have problems or questions, please contact your chapter rep.

 

NYSBUA website contains actual plays & situations that were protested through our state association last year.

 

Insurance & Dues - $11 per person goes to the State organization for membership dues. $4.90 per person goes to the State organization for insurance.

       In the event of a lawsuit against the local chapter or chapter officers, the first $7500
        will be provided by NYSBUA.

 

State Executive Committee – This group does not vote on any issues during the Annual State Meeting. Votes are from the membership only. This is why we send two delegates each year.

 

TERRITORY – Each association throughout the state has rights to “ALL” games within its territory.    DO NOT CROSS BOUNDRIES.

 

UNIFORMS – Reps to the State tournament in June must have official uniforms. Officials will be sent home and Chapters and individuals will be fined.   This has happened.

New Uniform additions – Cliff Keen pants are now acceptable (pleated, base   or plate)

                                       _ Anaconda Navy Blue (ss124) shirts are now acceptable

Feckheimer pants and Cliff Keen shirts are still accepted.

 

         Summer Shirts – Red, Navy and Powder Blue are ok.   Crθme (with white & black
                         

         trim) is NOT yet acceptable.

 

         Numbers on shirt sleeves will be discussed at the 2007 meeting.
